I love Gipsy Kings

Yep, I spent some money at Borders today and bought a Gipsy Kings CD that i've never heard. I love it! I also bought a Catechism and Spanish/English dictionary. The Catechism i've been meaning to buy for ages and finally I remembered I needed one when I was in Borders and not on the bus home or something. The Spanish/English dictionary is so that if I ever do decide to really learn Spanish I am prepared. I'm taking small steps in that direction so maybe someday I actually will. Problem is I love the language and I know I mutilate it horribly every time I open my mouth. Also, i'm terribly shy of trying and embarrassing myself in front of real Spanish speakers. So there you have it. On a different note, the weekend was tons of fun. The rodeo was awesome as usual and the rain held off, so we didn't get wet. Lovely. Then all us girls stayed up super late talking every night and of course that was great fun. Then we went shopping yesterday :) I spent money again, but it was for some things that I really "need" like a skirt for either Ani and Jeff's wedding or the rehearsal dinner. Not sure which is more appropriate for the wedding: my Ann Taylor Easter outfit or my new skirt (beige and pink pattern, I like it a lot) with one of my black shirts. I need opinions, maybe i'll ask Natalia tomorrow. I'm sure she'd be happy to give me advice on clothing :) Or Grandma next time I see her. Or, if any of my readers have an opinion and know what outfits i'm talking about, feel free to leave me a comment about it. Well, my neck hurts and i'm hungry, so bye!

You should post your bug search quandaries online. I'm sure some reader out there has silverfish. They probably don't want to admit it, but maybe they'd get one for you if it could be done anonymously!

To all: there is a $1 bounty for a walking-stick (the bug) in excellent condition.

Maybe you should post a link to Lauren's blog....

By "excellent condition" do you mean alive? Not that I've seen any around, now that I think of it. Anyone need Japanese Beetles or Box Elder Bugs?

Oops hit the wrong button...

As I was saying,

Excellent condition means NOT SQUISHED INTO MANY MANY PIECES BY THE ICE CREAM CONTAINER IN THE FREEZER

Yes, it's true. We keep bugs in our freezer (mostly in excellent condition) and hand them over to Maryn on the weekends. No Japanese Beetles need apply!
