I'm not procrastinating...
Well, maybe I am. I have a literature paper due Monday and I need to do it tonight and tomorrow since I know for a fact that I won't get anything done this weekend since sisters are coming home and bringing friends from GVSU. It's Lauren's birthday and the Rodeo, so lots of excitement and no time to do homework. Yep, so i'm planning on staying up tonight until I finish a rough draft and then revising it tomorrow and then forgetting it until Monday. However, I have no thesis or really any ideas at all. Sigh. So that's that.
Other than the impending paper, I have had a pretty good time since my last post. I went home on the weekend and watched the game (Go Blue!!) at my grandparent's apartment and had a lovely dinner there too. Then on Sunday I collected bugs for many hours and got all kinds of cool ones. Then on Monday night we had our second Encyclical meeting and our numbers swelled by three which was nice. Yesterday my Bio of Insects class went on a field trip to Linden Park and we wandered all over the place and had a great time. I lost my little fish net though :( And, when I got home and opened my backpack, I realized that my aspirator jar had come undone. This means that all my tiniest, most delicate insects were either squashed or hopping/flying/crawling around in my backpack! Fortunately, I did manage to get most of them back in a jar and freeze them. Then I spent the rest of that night dissecting my Katydid and Mantid and pinning. I have so much pinning to do it's insane.
Today was nice, Natalia came over for dinner so we had a nice even six at the dinner table again. I also discovered that one of my new favorite veggies is called something along the lines of "Patty Pans". Very cutesy name, but delicious nonetheless. Well, it's 8, and I would like to sleep tonight, so i'm gonna get cracking. Have a lovely week!

Hey, nice to run into you at the rodeo, even if mutton bustin' is child/animal abuse. Have a good week!
Yeah, but is bull riding man/woman/animal abuse? I think you're descriminating in your abuse labels... :)
patty pan squash? slightly expensive, but mostly good

Woah, is Mr. Marsh the same person as my sister or someone weird I don't know who happens to like patty pans too? We had them for dinner last night by the way :)
