I'm done!

Okay, so I finished my paper finally (only took 9 hours!) and am feeling like I should post something more substantial now that i'm relieved of that pressure. So i'll give you the blow by blow account of the past week as far as I remember. Last Thursday: Have no memory of it at all. Must have been boring. Friday: I went to class, then to work and then hid in my room reading for my Victorian Novels class while Paulina had her first birthday party with her friends. Saturday: Did all the usual, went to Mass and saw Michael and my parents (Michael's weird eye growth is gone, by the way. I'm very happy that the temptation to pluck it off myself has been removed) then went back to the Seromiks for Paulina's second birthday party. That one was just family plus me and Barb B. Barb is very funny and I had a good time chatting with Natalia over dishes and playing a game with the whole crew. Sunday: Had brunch, then went out to lunch with Janet. It was nice to catch up with her, and lots of giggling as always when with Janet :) Then I went home and hung out for a while, watched some of the super bowl and all that. Monday: Very long day. I went to class in the morning, walked to work in the bitter cold, worked for five hours, got a ride to St. Mary's for Mass, went to a group meeting. The group meeting went quite well, we got all excited about our idea for our final presentation. However, that changed yesterday :( which I will explain shortly. Then I went home and ate dinner, read more for VN and chatted with Dominique online for a while. Tuesday: Went to class and discovered that our group is going to be doing some other group's idea and they're doing ours. Grrrr. No one was happy about that. The other group really wanted to do their idea and we really didn't and don't want to do it. Grrr again. Then I hung around doing philosophy reading and called Gina on her birthday (notice I talked to three different cousins in three subsequent days) while waiting to go to dinner at the UCO women's household. Walked over there and had dinner with a bunch of girls I barely knew but who were/are all really nice. It was fun and their house is really cool and old. Then I went to UCO and then to bed after almost finishing my philosophy reading, but not quite. Today: Went to class, worked on paper for a very, very, very long time. I started out in the library, but around lunchtime this guy showed up and sat at the table behind me. Nothing wrong with that...if he hadn't been listening to music REALLY LOUDLY and eating REALLY OBNOXIOUSLY! So I left and went to Great Wraps for lunch. I ended up just staying there and working on my paper since they had free internet access. It was very cold in the basement where I was though. Then I went to Mass and home for dinner. After dinner, I worked on my paper for another two hours and finished it. Phew. End of day.

What a paper! Which class? I had four papers due in three classes on Tues. None of them that long though, it all totaled 12 1/2 pages. 3 in Spanish which took the longest. See you this weekend :)

I wanted to watch "Under the Greenwood Tree" (much whining)...You can tell me if you think it's worth my while. Call Dad to arrange tomorrow's car swap. I almost bought that movie for Lindsey for Christmas...Did the tip of your nose break off due to frostbite? Did your snot freeze? (Michael thinks that's totally cool and gross.)

I think Michael is totally cool and gross ;0 Awww, you should come up this weekend mom! Mr. Marsh, it was for Anthropology, 5-10 page research paper. The fact that it required research and citations and all that was what made it take so long. Ended up being about 6 pages but it's a piece of crap, so after someone looks at it (my GSI hopefully) it will probably be longer. Ugh, I have philosophy paper to write too, but that won't take too long. Wow, i'm impressed you got all that done! See you tomorrow!!
