Yeah for Advent!
I love Advent, Christmas etc. I'm sitting here on the very comfy couch by the Christmas tree (it's fake, but I can deal with that) all decorated and lit up and looking across at the Nativity scene which I set up last night. It was fun decorating everything, I even have a little Nativity from Zacapa Honduras set up in my room. Cute! I've been listening to Christmas music pretty much constantly since I got home too, and it's fun because alot of it is in Spanish and it's really funny sometimes. It's also quite good at times, just the translations of English songs sound a tad odd in Spanish :) On the subject of music, Handel's Messiah on Saturday was amazing! The soloists were not quite as cool as the chorus (amazing!!!!), but one of them at least was unintentionally hilarious. She was soooo dramatic, moving her shoulders all over, making faces, dancing in place...yeah, I had a hard time not laughing at her at first. Eventually I got used to her enough to control myself, but it took work. So that was great fun. Now I have tons of school stuff to do, but I have it mostly under control I think. I registered for classes today and that was really irritating because the one class that I really, really wanted to take was closed and i'm number six on the waitlist. Sigh. It took an hour to get classes that might count towards my goal that also allow me to work. Also (drum roll, please) I called and scheduled an appointment with my advisor. This is a big deal 'cause I haven't seen her since orientation a year and a half ago or so. Hmm, that's about it for now I think, sad that we're not going to the championships, but the Rose Bowl is still pretty darn good. Alright, catch ya'll later.

Your blog has been dutifully read. Congrats on going to your advisor.

Hey hey, speaking of christmas trees, mom was surprisingly receptive to the idea of going to get ours on saturday. Weird eh? If we get enough done she said... "Mother! Do you realize what you just said?!" "Of course, I said IF." "Oh....if...."
...and one more thing: See that Lucifer gets his bath.
Wow! I'm amazed!
