Class is canceled

Well, here I am in the computer lab at 9:30 on a Monday morning all because I didn't check my e-mail this morning. My philosophy professor canceled class again today. This is the 6th time. My disgruntled classmate (only other one to show up this morning) actually took the time to figure out that this means he has missed approximately 1/5 of our classes for the semester. I am annoyed, but mostly at myself for not checking my e-mail this morning. I'm getting a cold and an extra hour of sleep when I was tossing and turning all night would have been quite lovely. If I didn't have to work today and go to a group meeting, I probably would skip my next class and go back home to sleep. However, that really isn't an option. My place of employment has a big day tomorrow too, so not going to work would be mean of me although they probably would let me. So on Saturday night I took Nora to go see Canadian Brass and it was a lot of fun. Nora was quite funny and so were they. The music was awesome as well. Friday night was also fun, but very odd. Some of us siblings and D.C. went to see "the last mimzy" which was basically a hippy-fest. Hilarious, in other words, but I can't say I recommend it for kids. Basically it's not worth the money unless you're paying under $2 for it. Which I was, come to think of it! Hah! Totally didn't realize that when I was typing that line... In other news, I learned how to make Ukrainian Easter Eggs on Wednesday and I love it! They look soooo pretty when they're done and playing with hot wax is always a blast as well. I've made three so far, two on Wednesday and one last night which I am really proud of. It's quite gorgeous, even if I do say so myself. This cold is not much fun, I hope it goes away soon. I have too much to do this week to be sick. This is what I have to do this week (this is mostly for my benefit, I tend to forget unless I write it down somewhere): 1. Write 5-7 page English paper by Friday (don't really have a topic yet...) 2. Work on Group Project (presentation on the 5th, 3 meetings between now and then) 3. Work on Individual Project (due the 17th, but has to be turned in in bits and pieces) 4. Start revising 5 assignments for portfolio, buy folder off of classmate 5. Start researching for Anthro paper number 2 (8-15 pgs) due the 12th 6. Meet with Anthro GSI sometime this week about a topic. 7. Read Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde 8. Finish reading Encyclical for Wednesday I think that's it, the big one will be the paper obviously. Hopefully I'll come up with a topic today or tomorrow, write it on Wednesday, revise it on Thursday and turn it in on Friday. We shall see. Well, 15 more minutes to burn. I think I'll play a couple games of FreeCell.

Just got over my cold, then got a headache that threw me off enough to send me home from work. Doing splendidly now, so there is hope.

You've got a full plate!

I'm glad there's hope, even if I don't feel it right now. Glad you're better :) See you this weekend probably.

This weekend would be GREAT, since your Gr & Gr are moving in and we're Seder-bound (right?)
We need your voice too.

He's telling the truth, Wheeze. I tried standing in for you and singing falsetto, and was told to never come back.

Also, any clue why Google Reader won't let me subscribe to your blog's feed?

Hmmm, maybe I should call you guys to find out what's going on this weekend. I should be able to help for at least one day, when is the seder? D.C., I appreciate your effort to stand in for me but I can't answer your question. Not because I'm being obnoxious, but because I don't even know what a "blog feed" is. So yeah, are you going to the seder too?
