Pocahontas and Essay Tests

Well, to all of you who were following my account of the Pocahontas ordeal, you'll be pleased to learn that it had a happy ending. That's right, I got my paper back to day with a ton of comments and an "A-" which makes me happy. I would have preferred a solid "A" of course, but when I read her grading criteria, I feel very accomplished. "A" papers are outstanding, going above and beyond the assignment and showing superior argument. So all in all, happy feelings. However, my essay test this morning I'm a tad concerned about. It isn't that I didn't have an answer, I just feel like I didn't present my answer clearly enough and didn't include enough info. However, it wasn't because I didn't know all the info, it was that I ran out of room. Sigh. Hopefully he isn't too hard a grader in terms of coherency. All I can do is wait and see. I'm glad it's over though, 'cause now I can concentrate on my next midterm coming up on Thursday. This one shouldn't be bad seeing as it is multiple choice and most of the material is a review from last semester's anthrobio class (genetics, evolution, primates, human evolution etc.) so i'll just have to study the earlier material. Well, Paulina and I are going to go watch the Olympics, joy to all my faithful followers, family and newcomers...and any random people I don't know but who happen upon this blog.
