No reason.
That's right, there is no reason for this post. Nothing much has happened, I haven't gotten my Pocahontas paper back yet or anything. I should get it back on Monday. It's taking quite some time and all us English kids are pretty nervous about it. I am fairly busy, I have two finals next week: one in Anthro 101 and the other in anthro 331. I'm definitely much more concerned about the 331 one. It is an essay test but we have all the possible questions. It's just a matter of writing a good response to all of them and then memorizing the gist of it. I don't like having to do that, but at least it isn't a surprise this way. I much prefer multiple choice though. I'm good at it. Short answer is okay sometimes too, but I don't like my handwriting so I tend to be somewhat anti-writing. I wish I could use a computer to type up my essays. Oh well.
We got to look at various different skulls today in my anthro 101 discussion. That was kind of fun 'cause we had to try and figure out which skull was which (robust or gracile australopithecines?). Most of the skulls were familiar to me because I had anthrobio last semester which basically was the in depth version of what we are learning in my anthro 101 now. It is kind of boring, but at least we're done with genetics and crap which I have had even more times. I kind of like hearing more about the australopithecines and Neandertals and the like. Fascinating stuff even though it is kind of hard to know what to believe sometimes. There are all these theories but no real concrete answers and I want answers. I guess i'll just have to wait. Well, I'm gonna go play "Minesweeper" for a bit and then maybe do some homework. Maybe :)

Hi Maryn,
I found you! I've noticed in myself, always a going back, looking for origins, in things human, natural, spiritual, tangible, intangible. Always an interest in finding beginnings and patterns.
I see some of this in your interest in science, certain aspects of anthro, well, I'm glad I found you!
