Be happy!
That's right, it's time to be happy. Why? Because I didn't have to re-write my paper on Thursday!! I don't know if I told you, but I had a panic attack on Monday because after I had already written my paper and had peer review and all, I read the articles assigned for the movie. The second one was very similar to mine which really scared me because I thought I might have to re-write the entire thing or else try to go back and find things in my paper and then try to find the similarities in the article and try to cite my ideas. So on Wednesday I tried to get a meeting with my teacher, but to make a long story shory, it didn't work. I had to make an appointment for 8:15 on Thursday. Not my idea of fun. Plus, if she said I had to change anything, I would have to skip class to fix it 'cause I leave campus and don't come back till Monday on Thursday at 11:30. Fortunately, it went well, my teacher said since I was making a different point it didn't matter that I used similar examples. Phew. So I am happy and would like to pass that on to all of you ("all" being a relative term) and say, "rejoice!!!" So there. Also, this week I was a social butterfly and went out for coffee with two different people!! In one week!! This is weird for me in case you didn't know. It was also lots of fun. Too bad I don't have tons of money to spend on coffee. Sigh. Also, if you are looking for a good series of books to read, check out Jasper Fforde's Thursday Next serie. The first one is called "the eyre affair". Well, that's all for now. Bye!

Ah, you make me laugh. Can I read your pocahontas paper sometime? email it to me ;) I'd like to see how one goes about writing a paper on that subject.
Speaking of papers, I have to come up with a proposal for my Art History paper by thursday. Big deal you say, but since I have chosen the "self portrait" category, I also have to decide what period I want to do my portrait in...meh meh meh. I could do a constructivist (and thus be reduced to geometric forms) or abstract (and thus be splotchy, a la pollack) or attempt something more difficult such as Northern Renaissance humanist....
anyhoo, I'll keep you posted on the progress of my self portrait. Also, expect big and beautiful things of lindseymishler.com...as yet in ethereal existence but soon to be shoved out into the sea of domains.
You can only have it if I get an A. I should probably know tomorrow so you can expect either: ranting because I don't get an A or the paper itself. Good luck with that paper topic, they're pretty impossible sometimes. I don't really like mine for my anthro 331 class, but oh well. Can't wait for lindseymishler.com!!!
