Here I am again...Why?

Well, I guess I came back, must be bored again. Actually, that is very true, the Thanksgiving break is about over and I'm back at school after a very fun time at home with my family. It's not like I never see them, I go home every weekend, but it is difficult to come back to school after a break. It feels like it should just be Christmas and the semester should be over. Unfortunately, I still have two or so weeks left and three finals, a paper and a project to do. Sigh. So I have stuff I should do, I just don't feel like doing it right now. I left my book at home and so am whiling away the time checking my e-mail and bumming around on the computer. I guess I could go downstairs and talk to people, but I don't have an excuse and I hate just barging in on people. In a bit I guess my excuse could be dinner, but then I would actually have to eat and I'm not really hungry. We (my sisters and I) had a late lunch at Arby's so I'm not particularly hungry. Plus, I had some pretty sweet tea about and hour ago. So not hungry. The break was pretty fun, my brother (the bum!) went to Steaubenville for Thanksgiving to be with our aunts, uncle, cousins, grandparents and sister so we missed him, but we still had fun. One of our other uncles and my sister's boyfriend came over for dinner so we ended up having eight people for dinner instead of just six. Dinner was its usual tastiness and dessert was even better. We broke away from the traditional Thanksgiving pies and had a chocolate fondu instead. I missed the pies, but the fondu was pretty amazing. My favorite thing to dip had to be the meringues and the piroutte cookies. Delicious! We didn't really do anything after dinner, my sister, her boyfriend and my uncle all left after dessert and my other sister had to work the next day, so most people went to bed. I stayed up and played my harmonica for a long time and then went to bed when my lips hurt too much to keep going. This Friday we went and got our Christmas tree. It's a beauty, nine feet tall and fairly skinny compared to what we got last year (mom was gone that year, so we got a huge fat one). We waited to decorate it until last night which was my parent's 24th wedding anniversary. That was quite fun, I really love Christmas trees when they're all decorated with the lights and all our old ornaments. We looked at wedding pictures too which was pretty funny. Everyone was so young...all our uncles and aunts and everyone! It was amazing. Then today all us girls went shopping for a few hours. We didn't really buy much, but I did get two new pairs of earrings having lost almost all my other ones. Unfortunately, I'm limited to gold because silver makes my ears swell up and itch. Not fun. But I like the ones I bought, I'll have to try them on though and make sure they really look okay on me. Well, I guess I could go eat something now and see who's here. I know no one reads this, but hey, it passes the time!
