Still have some time...

Hello, i'm back 'cause i'm feeling very guilty about leaving you three in the lurch for 20 days and then just putting in a tiny little post. I still have 10 minutes before departure, so I can add more details. Detail Number 1: This weekend we took down the Christmas tree :( This makes me very sad. No more lights, no more ornaments, no more pine needles on the carpet, no more nativity scene. Sigh. Detail Number 2: I have an English paper due on Monday in which I have to analyze the relationship of two movie characters and how it pertains to colonialist ideas. My movie choices are: the gods must be crazy, indiana jones and the temple of doom and...Pochahontas. Yes, the Disney version. I actually watched it during my break today for the first time in probably 8 or more years. I wasn't really missing much. So I have yet to decide which one i'll do. AHHH!! Detail Number 3: I got a "check plus/check" on the last English paper I turned in. This is an interesting detail mostly because I haven't seen a "check" on a paper since kindergarten. Funny how it takes me back...:) Detail Number 4: English is my favorite class this semester. Weird, huh? Especially since I was dead set against the idea of freshman writing. It is actually tons of fun (in a school perspective on fun anyway), we watch movies, write papers, and discuss colonialism. Kind of a lot of work, but fun. Detail Number 5: I forgot to put a title on that last post. Its title can be either "Monkey's Migration" or "Lunch's Lament" whichever you prefer. Aren't I generous? Detail Number 6: We (some siblings, a friend and I) went and saw "Glory Road" last week. It is a very good movie a la "Remember the Titans." I definitely recommend it. Highly.
